Wealth, in the form of money, is a common aspiration for just about everyone. When you look beyond material possessions and financial metrics, it can be said that true richness comes from intangible, priceless aspects of life that cannot be purchased with money; a prime example is having health and mobility as opposed sickness and disability.

The greatest disaster to strike Los Angeles, California and perhaps the costliest disaster in American history has brought a level of cooperation and mutual support that extends far beyond the borders of Los Angeles County. Fire fighters from Mexico and Canada have joined in a massive effort to mitigate the destruction from the wildfires ravaging vast swaths of the area, devastating the lives of tens of thousands, including those who are wealthy as well as those who are among the poor. An unrestrained inferno affects all equally regardless of station in life.

Take the time feel good. Even if you find yourself down in the dumps, don’t stay there. You can lift your mood quickly in a number of ways. For starters, try a little laughter. Here is a quick example; consider doing a good deed for someone else and focus on someone or  something outside of yourself.

Being a so-called Nerd can be a good thing. It’s better to be on a positive path than joining a bunch of people who are headed for self destruction in the long run, even though they may be getting some cheap thrills at the moment.

Meet a group of wingmen who are the angels of the sky, fighting raging fires in Los Angeles by air with a variety of aircraft ranging from helicopters to jumbo jets. They perform a complicated and dangerous mission to help others. Dropping fire retardant and water requires specialized pilot training, flexibility, endurance and courage.
